We loved our stay in this GREAT hotel with the helpfull staff. Comforts of guest room were fabulous - an individual safe, multi-channel television and ironing facilities.

compact room design, relatively new, located near eateries.
would not consider this a budget hotel in view of the price, stained bed sheet, smoky room despite it being a non-smoking room, not at the best of locations if you wanted to so shopping, sightseeing etc

the hotel looks still a bit new and the staffs are quite friendly.
The hotel room was a bit small and it was said when booking that there are more facilities then really was.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is fantastic, surrounded by famous restaurants like Boon Tong Kee chicken rice and Hong Kong Street. The service provided by the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The basic amenities in the rooms, including comfortable bedding and plenty of verandas, make for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Additionally, breakfast is served, although it is not included.
The toiletries and linens could be improved.

The hotel is close to malls and restaurants. Bus stops and tax stand are just few steps outside of the hotel. It may be a small hotel but the facilities are decent and modest. I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.

I dont like the service there. Its very bad. I remarked that I will come in 2:00AM, but they didnt allow check in. I have to sleep on the chair in hotel overnight! It's very bad, I wont come back. It made me have a bad impression when the first time I came Singapore

the bed was comfortable, perfect if you prefer firmer beds. the room, although small, was clean and fresh. It had all the basic amenities and complimentary items like coffee/tea, bottled water, and disposable toiletries. the staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel wasn't right next to a subway station, the local bus system was convenient and took me to the city centers quickly. there were plenty of affordable and delicious local food options near the hotel. I highly recommend Aqueen for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

The facilities are modern and very well maintained (almost like new). The room is really clean (albeit slightly small) and the staff is patient, friendly and helpful.
There is no separated shower unit in the bathroom so the floor can get wet - which might be a pain in the arse when you use the toilet later.

Aqueen Hotel is one of the best and recommended budget hotel in singapore. There are very very very few good budget hotel in singapore. I always prefer to stay here because the hotel rooms are clean and well maintained. In balestier Aqueen, the room size is small, other than the Queen room. This one is the best in Little India or lavender area. Don't try Clarimont or Fortuna..they are cheaters..

I got great value for my money at the hotel. The room was clean, functional, and well designed. The location was fantastic, with plenty of food places nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast delights could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Although the room was quite small, it was really clean and there was a complete set of toiletries, good ones too. location is good since there's a bus stop less than a minute away from the hotel, and a lot of food choices within 2-3 minutes of walking from the hotel. staff was helpful in hailing a cab for me and handled the wake-up call request very well. there's also free bottled water in the rooms that's pretty useful for the scorching heat. switches for the light were also good since you have like a master control in the bed's headboard.
the toilet is quite small and the curtain did not provide enough "barrier" for the water not to splatter to the bowl. staff/management is quite rigid in not allowing you to check-in the room at an earlier time, say 9am, although you will be leaving even as early as 4AM the following day. I ended up paying 50% of the daily rate just to get myself to the room and take a shower before my scheduled interviews. the LCD TV featured a few channels, which included the local ones like ChannelNewsAsia, Channels 5 and 8, and cable networks CNN and Discovery Channel. they also don't have a spare keycard, according to them, so everytime you have to leave the room/hotel, your airconditioning will be turned off, not good when you are ending a warm day
